"Sauer: German Nickname... In England there were several names for the grave or austere man, including Sterne and Stark. Sauer is the German and Jewish (Ashkenazic) nickname for the cross or cantankerous person, and is derived from the German sauer = sour, from Middle High German sur, a cognate of English sour. Mental and moral qualities were often ascribed to people during Medieval times, with the differences in spelling and pronunciation due to the varying dialects and languages. Sauer and Wunderlich both designated the morose or moody man in Germany."

Hey, I don't think you can be morose and sour 100% of the time...

This is the product of multiple Mint Mocha Chip frappuchino's while lounging in a Starbucks on a hot afternoon...
:boogie:
I did this on lined journal paper... yes, I know--I was a bad girl and did the thing no one should do. I got paid for it in the end... it was a mission to take them out in photoshop. >_<; Thank you clone tool. This will soon be moved into my scraps, but I thought it might be fun to post up anyway.

Yeah, I guess this makes me a perv. ;P
Or just very bored. :D

Man I love those mocha mint chip frappuchinos. Hehe, wow great job on his sexy body, and the shading and everything. Lol, although the bra strap he's holding looks a bit long compared to the other one.
Yes, it is... she has a cyborg arm. o_O;

Heh! That's amusing. And nicely done, too! Why is it the best ideas come when you only have lined paper handy?
you draw a sexy ziggy.

in other news, you know what his real name means. *pokes you* Xenosaga owns my soul, yours too?
Thanks! And yes... It's even encouraged me to catch up on Nietzsche's philosophy and read his book "Thus Spake Zarathustra." I am such a dork. ^^; Who is/are your favorite character(s)?

Albedo was my favorite. mostly because I'm a loyal follower of Crispin freeman, who was the voice of Albedo. he's still the voice of gaignun kukai though, so I'm pleased.

Ziggy and MOMO are definitly my two favorite characters. I'm willing to bet that by the end of the game series Ziggy has a new realian body (as Jr offered to have made for him in EpII) and is married to juli mizrahi.

MOMO and Ziggy's character interaction throughout EpI is what made me love the two characters so much, MOMO wanting to be human, and Ziggy so wanting to not be. they learned from eachother and I found it incredibly cute.

I show more interest in the referances to psychology than the referances to religion and philosophy. the theory's of Jung (who once worked closely with Freud) are prevelant throug-out.
I really liked Ziggy and MOMO too :) Maybe I should do a fanpic of them two when I get the chance.

I thought Ziggy would get a realian body, too.. it just seems like it would follow the chain of events. But when I thought about it he is more "tougher" so to speak being partially metal. Also, I saw some screen shots of ep. III and there is one of Ziggy still as his cyborg self (just holding a giant cannon~!) Looks like they will bring back the tech attack system from ep. I (there are some pix and info at www.the-magicbox.com). Maybe by the end Ziggy will get a realian body? I also heard some disappointing news about the series, but I'll let you investigate--don't want to ruin it.

You know, I used to be pretty into psychology but took a bigger spin on religion/philosophy recently. I'd love to learn more, though. Can you share some observations that you've made in the game that relate to Jung's Theories? I know the basic idea that he believed that psyches/characteristics are passed down via culture... Thanx. :D
